The project consisted in the creation of the Web sites, their loading with content on Health issues on a daily basis, and the provision of technical support and maintenance services for the corresponding applications.
Supply of content is performed by the MediSign medical scientific team, which is composed of professionals from the Health Care sector specialising in the drafting and editing of medical and related subject contents.
The software was developed by the MediSign IT scientists, with the use of the most advanced techniques available for internet applications.
Central administration is performed by a custom-designed administration module ensuring secure transmission of information over the Internet and providing for drafting, publishing and chief editor functions based on the specifications of the FLASH.GR portal.
Development environment
UNIX Operating System (RedHat Linux).
DataBase server under UNIX (MySQL server ver 3.23).
Programming languages
The application was developed using the Perl and C++ programming languages and the php and XML technologies
